Non-Breaded Instructions

Use these tips to prepare your favorite non-breaded flavors, including Original, Cajun and Lemon & Herb.

Sauté

  • Daring sautés easy. While it cooks well on a variety of surfaces, we recommend using a non-stick pan, lightly coated with a high smoke point oil and set over medium heat.
  • It takes all of 6-7 minutes (from frozen) for Daring to reach it’s full crisped-up, golden-brown glory. Daring Cajun and Lemon & Herb take up to 5-6 minutes.

Oven Bake

  • Preheat the oven to 205ºC/400ºF. Place pieces on a baking tray, evenly spread out.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, carefully turning pieces halfway through to ensure even browning.
  • Pieces are ready when golden brown and crisp.

Breaded Instructions

Use these tips to prepare Daring’s Breaded Plant Chicken Pieces.

Air Fry

  • Place pieces in the air fryer with a little oil.
  • Air fry for 10 minutes at 400ºF, turning pieces halfway through to ensure even browning.
  • Pieces are ready when golden brown and crisp.

Pan Fry

  • Heat 1/4” of vegetable oil or similar high-smoke-point oil in a pan on medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, carefully lower pieces into pan–you may need to do this in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan. Spoon some of the oil over the pieces and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Turn pieces halfway through and cook for another 2 minutes to ensure even browning. Remove when pieces are golden brown and crisp, drain on paper towel.
